Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor famous for her character Bo in The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She is Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending practice sessions for plays. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple got married in December of 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. Following her conversion to Judaism and they renew their vows in the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk fell pregnant during the filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she is ready to resume working. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of final season of production. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples ever. E! voted it as top TV couple for the year 2013. Entertainment Television.
