Yael stone, a New York City-based Australian resident, played Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael Stone graduated from NIDA. Yael enjoyed the privilege to have the opportunity to work with the best storytellers in Australia. She has worked behind-the-scenes in film, television and the theatre. Yael is well-known as an actress throughout Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's new life in New York City began when her show was critically-acclaimed at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael created The Cannery with her co-founders. The Cannery promotes creative ideas in writing and also creative projects in it's Bushwick studio.
