Tessa Thompson
Tessa Lynn Thompson is an American actress born on the 3rd of October, 1983 at Los Angeles. She is the daughter singer-songwriter Marc Anthony Thompson and the daughter of the actor and musician Bobby Ramos. She was raised within Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. Her father is of African-Panamanian ancestry and her mother is of Mexican and British Isles origins. Thompson was a student at Santa Monica High School, which she appeared in numerous productions of the theatre. After graduating, she attended college at Santa Monica College, where she obtained a diploma in cultural Anthropology. At Pasadena's Boston Court Theatre, she played Juliet in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet". In the same year, her performance received the NAACP Theatre Nomination.
